We are constantly monitoring the management activities of other Clubs and scanning the economic horizon, which has led us to the conclusion that Orsett has a unique place in the golfing marketplace. We believe the fast drying qualities of our course make it the best winter course in Essex. We rarely see temporary greens and one would have to go back a long way to remember temporary tees.

These are claims that few of the surrounding clubs (our competitors) can make. Orsett is a unique winter golfing 'oasis' and one to be valued. At the same time we recognise that the playing surfaces of our course are currently in excellent condition, especially compared with other courses. It is for these reasons that we have decided to increase the Green Fees by £5 per round for all Visitors and Guests from the 1st January 2012. In short, we think the course is worth it!

We believe that the Club will benefit from this decision and so will our members. We sincerely hope that your guests, who we also value, understand the reasons for the change.

Please remember that we very much welcome your guests and hope you will take the opportunity to introduce many of them to the course in the coming months either as visitors or maybe as new members.
